Many people do experience a lack of willpower and self-discipline. Others experience the fear of failure or ego who believes they don't need the change. Some get comfortable being lazy and others require understanding and direction to their needs to take on a healthy lifestyle. To embrace a healthy lifestyle... We need the holistic approach where we are to be in symmetry with our whole persona; mind, body, and soul. 
MIND
Our mental state plays a very important role in embracing a healthy lifestyle. We need to first in tune with our mindset before deciding to make a change. Our brain is the most powerful of all body parts.

Ever heard a famous quote says:
“What consumes your mind, controls your life.”

You need to be mindful of how you feed your brain. When your brain is loaded with toxic it will eventually make your life intoxicated. Do teach your brain to exert positivity and adapt to constant change because life is not riveted but is a lifetime learning. 
BODY
When our body is loaded with toxic it will be difficult or will take time for a person to make a shift to a healthy lifestyle. In my previous article about the healing power of detox it is the first step a person should advise to do; cleanse the body first and clean eating follows and over time it will lead you to a healthy lifestyle.

Our physical metabolism changes over time. Like for instance, people at a young age have a faster metabolism compared with an aging person. Also, each person has its unique DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and to some their genes also change depending on what they put in their body. 

Physical exercise is important in our routine but fitness should only take up 20% and 80% nutrition, not the other way around. You can't outrun your fork!

Have you heard the outcry globally when a lot of people go haywire in this covid lockdown that they have added weight due to lack of physical exercise because gyms are closed? 

These people have trained their body to burn the calories with physical activity instead of edifying their body to regular detox and clean eating. When our body is free from toxins the level of the need for our body to burn fats either calorie is low.

Be cautious of what you put in your body. Practice this behavior and you will gradually learn to get in tune with your body and have control of your health, your life.
SOUL 
The food for the soul, what is this implies? 

It's a recurring event in your life that feeds your heart and soul, such as; relationships, daily routines, career, social, and spiritual practices. These things can lead you to fulfillment or discontentment. 

When your soul is restless it will affect your body and mind and your surrounding. 
To be able to embrace a healthy lifestyle, one must need to keep the positive energy and a long-term goal with purpose. What you cultivate in your daily chores plays an important part in your well-being. 

When your home; specifically your kitchen is loaded with unhealthy elements, it will make you unhealthy and the same when you surround yourself with people who don’t align with your values and practices. When you lack control of yourself and your soul... it will eventually lead you to stress, depression, chronic disease, and an unstable lifestyle. 

Your soul, body, and, mind deserves your precious time too. You should build a relationship; true love and trust with yourself more than anyone and anything else in your life. When you learn to establish a strong relationship with your mind, body, and soul... you will become invincible; you will have full control of your health and your life.
