Why is there No Best Diet?

It depends. We are diverse. You and me are different. Maybe after reading this article you have plans to shake up a protein shake, do your workout, and eat a home-made meal after. Others would probably go back to studying, order fast food online so they can easily squeeze a bite.
Our budget, our lifestyle, our food preference, our fitness level, our genetics, our schedule, and our age, (you get the point) makes us highly unique and different from each other. That means a low carb diet by one who works on a desk from 9- 5pm may not necessarily work well for an athlete who runs for 21kms everyday. That guy needs a lot of carbs.
As unique people, a lot of us would prefer to reach our goals without entirely disrupting the lifestyle we have been attuned to. For example, as Filipinos, we love rice. white rice. The food is already a cultural staple to most local households and to our diet. It’s not the most nutritious carb source but it’s part of our lifestyle and already a cultural staple. I don’t think one will be able to consistently stick to a diet plan if it means removing food that is beloved to them. Besides, there are more other ways to become healthy and fit.
But if there is one, what is the best diet then? Well, research suggests that the “best diet” is one that you can consistently stick to. Small differences in diets like the exact percentage of macronutrients, food choices, or what type of carbs people should eat - don’t matter. Again, it’ll depend on our unique differences, lifestyle and goals.
